When I was a staff writer for The New York Times, I developed the habit of writing down the questions I wanted answered while pursuing a story. These questions invariably started in the same way that we start our questions when we want to know more about something or someone — Who was at the party? What did they talk about? Why didn’t you go? In this video, we’ll talk about using these questions to help guide your reporting.
